Purpose of Position     To co-ordinate borehole drilling/ rehabilitation works so that it is done in accordance to the required WVK, Government of Kenya and other stake holders standards, in order to facilitate the process leading to provision of potable water to household livelihoods and in the process directly contributing to the attainment of child well being outcomes
 
Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
  • At least a Degree in Geology qualifications from a recognized university,
  • At least over 1 years experience in drilling related work
  • Experience in application ground water survey techniques will be added advantage
  • Computer literate,
  • Must have outstanding oral and written communications and relationship skills,
  • Good team player, self starter, has ability to work under minimum supervision and maintain good relationships.

A USAID contractor seeks qualified candidates for the following position: Regional Accountant – Nairobi
The Regional Accountant, under the supervision of the finance director, oversees financial operations, ensures compliance, and performs financial oversight for the Nairobi office of a USAID-funded project.
Specific duties include support for payroll functions; processing payments for operational and program expenditures; preparing monthly bank reconciliations; supervising vendor payments; providing financial analysis and projections as needed; monitoring and tracking grant and contract expenditures as needed; providing all information required for regular financial reporting; and other duties as assigned in an extremely fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess a BCOM, at least a CPA III, with at least five years of accounting experience including three years relevant experience in financial administration and management for USAID or other donor-funded programs in Kenya, as a demonstrated understanding of local banking conditions is required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop a consolidated, clear and documented strategy for innovation across all the Bank’s product lines including products not currently on the menu
  • Carry out appropriate research and product analysis as well as continuously monitor industry developments and customer expectations to ensure that the Bank keeps abreast of new developments in a bid to counter competition and grow the Bank’s market share
  • Ensure all product development undertaken is done in an efficient and timely manner with proper cost-benefit analysis/synopsis of all proposed product developments
  • Co-ordinate product innovation for the Bank and liaise with all the relevant support departments to crystallize all initiated product developments
  • Ensure full mitigation of all potential risks of all bank products and products under development

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Innovation related field
  • Demonstrated hands on experience at Senior Management level on innovation/product development

  • Should be able to identify and fill gaps in the market by developing project proposals to fill in the identified needs
  • Good business knowledge and awareness as well as a business development mind
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills

  • Should display understanding of the latest developments and emerging trends in the market place with regard to banking solutions

The Institute (ICSIA) wishes to fill the position of Administrative Officer.
 
Job Title: Administrative Officer
Reporting to the Secretary to the ICSIA Council, the holder will be responsible for all administrative and financial aspects of the Institute in line with the Institute’s strategic plan.
The position requires an energetic, focused, creative and dependable individual who is willing to take up new challenges and grow with the Institute.
 
Task Description
  • Developing and implementing the Institute’s policies and the Council’s resolutions
  • Providing support services
